Diana Dalton Poem
(Duo rhyme in Honor of Mary Ports)
Butterflies & Moonbeams
Of things that inspire I will write
Whether things of day or by night
Butterflies and silver moonbeams
Upon the quiet water gleams
Azure heavens where a hawk screams
Sunsets repainting awesome themes
Trees shade meandering cool streams
Yellow Stone where old faithful steams
Fireflies & double rainbow dreams
All made of magic so it seems
Enchantments entice my delight
With wonder I will dream tonight

Diana Dalton Poem
Mahatma Gandhi
Civil disobedience as modus operandi
The British, oh so superior
Ended up on their right royal posterior!

Diana Dalton Poem
Blood runs red in every race
War bring tears to every creed
Hunger felt by every being
Love desired by every heart
Green envy or generosity
Vengeful snares and forgiving
Nightmares give desires to dream
Dancing twixt joy & despair
Colorful array of emotions
So much in common
Do you see me in you
Your reflection in me?
We are rainbow children
Painting the canvas of life
Compassion sees the art
In the unique dance of us

Diana Dalton Poem
Magnificent Rainbow Tree
Your limb are on fire
Spirit burning bright
Igniting my desire
Setting me alight
Thank you for the vision
Your reflection burns in me
Mirroring my soul with precision
Magnificent rainbow me.

If I were a fly I could fly
If I were a bee I could be
If I were a person I would be me

Diana Dalton Poem
Her abode
Clothed with
Shades of purple
Rustic accents
Books & fairies
Steering
Reflecting
Her souls dance
Lilac so
Her happy hue
Singing to
Her being
Embraced
In violets
& lilac lace

Diana Dalton Poem
Right or Wrong?
If I were right?
Yet you felt Wrong
Would it mean you didn't belong?
Could I ever be right?
If I judged you wrong?
Would it mean I didn't belong?
Did God make me right?
Or did He make you wrong?
If so where would God belong?
If I were an expressions of light?
You a magnificent expressions of night?
Where would that illusive wrong or right belong?

Diana Dalton Poem
Developing Negatives
When life appears gloomy
Patiently wait for the picture
Unfolding in the dark room
Amidst the developing medium
The negative transforms to ...
A gift of indescribable beauty.

Diana Dalton Poem
Escape the Matrix
Or
Escape from madness (Lesson23)
Attack on freedom
Attack on war
Attack on cancer
Attack all we deplore
Attack the attacker
As long as you don't see
The attacker is hiding
Camouflaged in you and me
Attack thoughts
Leads to effects we see
Cascading thoughts
Determine destiny
God will heal our guilt
God will heal our pain
Forgive us all
We are just insane
