Guilt’s torture

Stagnate, I laugh in black and white.
Aggravating circumstances of a one sided life. Guilt, strife, the ultimate price. Peaks and valleys, a gripping vice. Quantify flesh, justify insanity, intensify pain. Calculations of mortal manipulating pawns in attempt to temp a debt. A most cruel game of chess. Pressing forward, diving on the sword of humility, wielding a shield of lived mistakes, apathetically attempting to find and collect forgiveness in a basket weaved of kindness. And though closer to the summit, tirelessly I climb.
