Contest Description
To enter my contest and win a copy of one of my books, you need to submit a new poem on the theme of Spring using a sonnet format... but it must be a Lipogram.
Do Not Put Any Information, including quotes or voice tapes, On Your Poem Page!
A lipogram is a composition from which the writer systematically omits a specific letter or letters of the alphabet; in this case, the letter chosen to be omitted is (A)
English Sonnet
Fourteen lines... with an (abab cdcd efef gg) rhyming scheme, with 10 syllables per line.
You may write anything about Spring," as long as it doesn’t contain the letter (A).

2) True rhymes only, no near rhymes
3) Be True To The Form you choose
4) Only submit poems relative to this contest; all others won't be read.
5) Must be a new poem as of April 2, 2024.
