PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO ENABLES US TO BUILD LIVES UNTO HIM

May 21 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Ezra 4-7

Key Verse – Ezra 4:3 …We ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO ENABLES US TO BUILD LIVES UNTO HIM Praise be to God for enabling us to build lives unto Him Who: Braces us along His leadership Blows away our loneliness Blesses us with His love Binds our lethargy Bears our loads Ezra 5:5 Praise be to the Lord for watching over us with His eye of: Care for our victory Compassion in our voyage Courage causing us to be valiant Concern correcting our vain vaunting Comfort covering our voluminous void Ezra 6:14 Praise be to the Saviour for prospering us while: Driving us along His way Dealing with us through His word Demanding from us worthy worship Directing us against our waywardness Disciplining us toward willingness to work well Ezra 7:10 Praise be to the Almighty for preparing our hearts to seek His laws against: Filthiness toward His sanctification in His pardon Futility toward His satisfaction along His provisions Fearfulness toward His security through His protection Faithlessness toward His stability upon His power and presence Foolishness toward His Scriptures’ precepts of principled purpose. Amen!

I just noticed the consistent physical structure of your poems. I especially liked these alliterative lines: Praise be to the Saviour for prospering us while: Driving us along His way Dealing with us through His word Demanding from us worthy worship Directing us against our waywardness Disciplining us toward willingness to work well I like the strength and conviction in your poetry. Have a blessed evening, Sara
