From Phyllis Babcock
I was born in in Saskatchewan, Canada. Al, my husband and I currently reside in Regina Saskatchewan Canada. We have two wonderful sons. Grandchildren who light up my life.
This is one of the absolute best things in life. Their smiles and chuckles warms the heart.
When I first joined the soup, poetry was my means of self expression. I had no former training but was amazed at all the forms of poetry that exist. Initially, I had doubts about my writing ability. However you all made me feel I had something to contribute. I am so thankful for that!
I am a Christian with hopes for a better peaceful world. I am very conservative, a bit of a perfectionist, I try to be funny but I think I fail horribly. I have a soft heart and I am open and honest. Thank you for reading my poetry and for your comments and inspiration.
God Bless, Phyl
