Faces

They say there are two sides to everything. I walked up in a place that showed no sorrow, to a face which promised lots of tomorrows. The brightest smile a gal could ever have expected. Before I knew it, I was infected. Sooner than later the second face came out, cause you see there was no doubt, my love had grown all about.

One face, two face which one needs to be replaced. One face two face which one deserves to win my grace. How can I ever wait! When our love was so fake.

Two hearts were joined yes, they belonged but who could guess there were two faces.

Back and forth, in and out of mazes, confused which was real. My head was spinning, all could see the blazes. The energy shared could not be denied, who could have known it was a lie. The second face would soon appear, one that was not as sincere.

From outside I could see how one face needed me. Long nights awake there was no mistake, this was the face that won my grace. Number two finally came out, the face that had lots of doubt. Too many people to explore, how could he ever be sure. On to the one he thought belonged, not knowing it was all wrong.

One face. two face, which one needs to be replaced. One face, two face, which one deserves to win my grace. How could I ever wait! When our love was so fake.

Pain Within

He sits and listens to all that is said, thoughts and feelings were all misled.Finding her in someone else's hands, becomes a lesson he will never understand. For many reasons, a man must be strong, willing to change and ride along. It leads to a place where loneliness exists, divided between the heart and soul, a place to never forget.

Loneliness, no time for this, loneliness years that can't be fixed. Took that love, boxed it away, if we could only go back to fix that day.

Babe my mind made so ill, can't just pop a pill, turns to agony, seems so surreal. Changing, a man who defends and makes amends, please, to the end! Pounding heart, screaming soul, in a place that's dark, and has no goals! Toxic mind there's no doubt, always looking for a way out. No end in sight, never to know the ray of light.

Loneliness no time for this, loneliness years that can't be fixed. Yeah, took that love, boxed it away, if we could only go back to fix that day.
