. So
appear
the visions,
kind
of my
scenes
Unwind.
With such joyful
thoughts of all those yesterdays.
The times we both spent together.
Reflections of fun in any weather.
The days when you were mine.
Yes reflections are so fine.

Speaks Volumes Poem
Torrential rain, blinding wind howling,
Dark heavy clouds ominously scowling,
Brilliant radiant light of electric flashes,
Following the lightning, defiant crashes,
Loudest blasts make brave men cower,
Thunder so deafening it exudes power,
I was born of a powerful thunderstorm.
Still attached to its base, I will spawn.
Nature’s most violent, I am called TORNADO,
300 miles per hour, my winds will blow.
A rotating column of air touching the ground,
Violently spinning with a horrendous sound.
I will cause fatalities at a devastating rate,
Buildings, and whole towns, I will annihilate,
People panic seeing my deadly approach,
Over fields and farms and cities I encroach.
Lifting up animals, houses and cars in my wake,
My tempest is unending, with fury, victims I take,
Finally cold down drafts signal my final gust.
I slowly cease rotating and turn to dust.

Speaks Volumes Poem
Poverty and hunger are bedfellows.~ The Poet~
Alluring, pleading
Yet it will burn,
Pangs of hunger
Immanent yearn.
Desperate child
So forlorn
For the poverty
To which she was born.
Minds meant to be astute,
Mental distortion
So destitute.
The steaming broth
Humbly offered,
No wrath for their plight
No relief in sight
The bounty so meager
The child so eager
The brushstrokes in blue
Setting the scene
A feeling to subdue,
With empathy pains
The artist explains.
She surges forward, hands raised.
Using hues to convey the mood.
Begging for some food.
Depicting the sign of the time.
It’s far from fine.

Speaks Volumes Poem
"Violinist : Diana Yukawa Vocals : Jemma Lyrics : The Poet"
Where do we go to?
Feelings so blue now,
When we think of you.
So many souls are gone now.
Gone forever into the blue.
Lost not forgotten.
Thinking of you.
Thinking of you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where do we go to now?
Where do we go?
Something familiar and new.
Dear one I need you.
I am no where near you .
Feeling this song is for you.
See I long for you now .
All on my own now.
My body longs to know you.
I light a candle loving you now .
longing too.
Longing for you.
You are my savior.
I am needing you.
Happy as I am,
Missing you too.
I do need you close now.
Needing you so.
Where dear are you now?
Seeing you now.
Longing for you I am too.
Longing for you.
You are my savior.
I am needing you.
Happy as I am,
Missing you too.
I do need you close now.
Needing you so.
Where dear are you now?
Seeing you now.
Speaks Volumes Poem
Forces of the universe produce a wonderous array of spectacles afar.
Monstrous planets rotating around just one lustrous inferno of a star.
Myriads of illuminated stars are part of the yet unexplored distant space.
Nature not to be outdone displays ecstasy in many an enchanted place.
Magnificent mountain ranges protrude their snow-covered peaks on high.
Burnt amber deserts, picturesque oases, palms growing lush defy the dry.
Mighty oak trees in emerald, green fields flourishing a rainbow of blooms,
Sweetest scent wafting over the lands brings a cascade of delicate perfumes.
Forlorn, I am presented with an abyss a mere stark white expanse, a page.
On which I am expected to create art to, enlighten captivate or enrage.
It is a daunting task to pit my prowess against such powerful competition.
I trust my muse is in perfection mode to tackle such a demanding rendition.
To compete with Nature and the Universe, I strive to create a masterpiece.
All the enlightened, poetic power flowing within me, my muse must release.
A plain blank canvas provides a challenge, of what to do, be it near or far,
The project at hand may be almost as difficult as lighting a candle from a star.
Speaks Volumes Poem
I saw a wizard cast a magic spell.
Six dolphins jumped from the sea.
He asked me kindly not to tell.
They grew legs and danced with glee.
They really danced quite well.
He caught a wave in his hand,
From one of the seven seas
He turned it into a strip of land.
On that island he put some trees,
Also, tropical flowers quite grand.
He then turned his attention to me.
He suggested a gift, very expensive.
And asked what I wanted to be.
He stood looking very pensive.
I answered emphatically “just me.”
Speaks Volumes Poem
When I had to leave, if you’re finding it tough.
Because forever would not have been enough.
Try not to let your lonely, broken heart, heave.
If you’re finding it tough when I had to leave.
I wanted to stay, I know you needed me,
Despite the love we shared, it wasn’t to be.
The memories we made, each and every day.
I know you needed me, I wanted to stay.
Walks on that trail when it was just you and me.
You liked showing me off for everyone to see.
My slobbery kisses, the pounding of my tail.
When it was just you and me, walks on that trail.
Being with you, it was always the best time for me.
If we were in the car or playing or just watching TV.
I always somehow knew what you wanted me to do.
It was always the best time for me, being with you.
I guess we always knew, my time here would be short,
And that extra time together just couldn’t be bought,
Even if that bridge takes me far, I’ll always love you,
My time here would be short, I guess we always knew.
I’ll always be there, right there in your heart,
Because ours was a team that no one could part.
If you are feeling heartbroken, please know I care,
Right there in your heart, I’ll always be there.
Speaks Volumes Poem
Acknowledging
God’s omnipresence accepting
that he is with us through out our life,
there must be no misconception, that he is in
total control of our lives."God made me do that”
“God made the child die” God failed to secure the
levy and hundreds died in the flood”. We are not
players acting some vast second by second play that
God has scripted, mindlessly each playing our part.
We are not inanimate puppets and God is not the
puppeteer pulling our strings. While we know
God is in Heaven, we also know God is
present with us, He is everywhere at one
time (omnipresent) albeit not in a solid
material form as we are, so our soul
must bilocate from the every
second of everyday life to
always be aware of him
and rejoice in his
\ presence. /
\ /
\ /
\ /
\ /
We must be per se, two entities:
Our material self, body and mind,
and our spiritual self, soul awareness.
At one time I can be busy washing
dishes, and my awareness can be in
quite a difference place enjoying my
acceptance of the presence of our Lord
maybe thanking Him, maybe being
comforted, but definitely with Him
Speaks Volumes Poem
Pumpkin straight from my garden is my choice,
With the aroma as it bakes in the oven, I rejoice.
Serve with hot buttered toast, its yum at first bite.
You can add a dollop of sour cream, a real delight.
Its vegetarian. A meal or a snack morning or night.
Leave off the butter and for vegans no sour cream,
You will have created, a gourmet’s culinary dream.
Use Kent pumpkin for yummy soup, no other type.
The family will love it you won’t hear a single gripe.
Don’t waste your yummy pumpkin on Halloween.
First rule of cooking your hands must be clean.
Next I suggest make a big batch to store.
Guaranteed they will be back for more.
There’s lots of kinds of great soups,
Handy for feeding the troops.
Follow my recipe to the letter.
I really think it is better.
I hope you love this pumpkin soup of mine,
I am sure you will think it tastes most divine.
Speaks Volumes Poem
The day is done. Travel dispersed, no more roaming.
Between dusk and sunset, it’s the gloaming.
I settle to watch, inspired by that instant moment,
When day gives over to night a regal bestowment.
Lights begin to shimmer, as we near twilight.
Across the horizon created a radiant glow so bright.
This magical moment captured with a deep ruby hue.
Detailing an exquisite hefty crimson etched in view.
Streams of color blend seamlessly in swirls of delight.
Heavily embossed across the faded sky, birds in flight.
Sunset’s glowing color of crimson and gold,
As night’s velvety blanket begins to unfold.
Whispers of a breeze wafting gently, flickers a scent.
Evokes aromatic bursts, sensual yet earthy by intent.
With a sweetness, and a warm tranquil overtone.
I am nestled snugly, captivated by joy I've never known.
Capturing my imagination of a candle in glorious blaze,
My breath extinguishing it to create the dark night haze.
