A Scar On My Left Wrist

I wanna be able to show everyone the scar on my left wrist
Without being judged, or mocked or laughed upon

I wanna be able to tell the story behind the scar
To everyone who asks

I wanna be able to tell everyone that my life
Isn’t perfect
That however much I may pretend
I too am broken

I don’t really care about the world
But I wanna be able to tell you
How I feel
Without fearing
That you too will leave

I don’t think I will be able to hide the scar anymore
For I no longer have any strength left

I just wanna be me
And sometimes I feel its too much to ask for

I wanna be able to tell you
How I cut my wrist
With no gist

Not using a blade
But a soft graze

And how much it hurt
After the blood spurt

I wanna tell you
How I feel when I lose control
And how much better you make me feel

 I just wanna be me
A girl with a scar on her left wrist..

When the Snow Falls In

When the snow falls in
the roads will be blocked
So cross over now
before it's too late

Take yourself away
grow in isolation
Greet the Sun, love the moon
and live with the nature

You will rise and shine
brighter than them all
Your fire will be fiercer
your will stronger, your strength unmatched

Your beauty aglow, your desires awakened
burning through your heart, raging through your mind
The demons shall leave
and your will shall preside

Full Moon

The moon was full,
The rose had bloomed,

The stars were twinkling,
Her scars were glistening;

The dew dripped down,
Her tears trickled down..

The Sun had set,
Her grief left her wet

She lay down alone,
The horizon was her own.

With no interruption, on the side,
She could scream out, in the void….

Bloodwork

Somedays I want to choke myself to death
To strangle my neck until my face turns blue

To wrap the ends of a nylon string to my hands
Like corsages on a ballerina’s wrist

To keep dancing
Until my face turns blue

Somedays I want to carve a pattern on the insides of my wrists
Weaving intricate patterns bleeding red with some sharp elegant cuts on the bluish veins

To watch myself bleed to death
To paint the walls of a room with splattering designs

To burn my body alive
What a waste my brain wants to say

Worth the experience my heart believes
The pain the horror the infliction

To be able to write about a burning body
After having experienced it thoroughly

To watch the blood drip down
Drop by drop, trickling
Darker splashes on the top
Faded ones by the bottom

I wonder if I spin
Would the patterns turn more beautiful

Would it resemble a mandala
If I kept turning and turning and turning

Darker

You feel like you would be darker for me than
I would have ever seen
But trust me, my friend...no one else could
ever be darker than me for myself

I made double attempts for my life
And no one else is ever going to do that

Making conscious choices..every second every minute of my life
Prioritizing people's opinions over my mental well-being....

I have tried every single thing

I have regrets but I'm learning how to enjoy life
And I would like to indulge myself for a couple more years

With regrets come realizations and with
realizations comes the responsibility to
figure out what I wanna do with my life

and I, my friend, am really interested in
dancing my way through life

Mother

Mother
Every day reminds me of you, Every breath defines you for me; I dare not say, I do have a mother; For I can't share my pains, With just any other.. I know you were beautiful, Just like the moon; For what the moon reflects, Is your light for me.. Someday we will meet, When eternity begins; We won't be too far, But never would we see; For when the destiny deigned, Our ways not to be; You were always there, Just for me..

Moonlit Death

When everything else is dark except for the moon,
starlight flickering through the forest trails ,
when no human being stays awake,
on days the werewolf howls

Water seeping through the forest canopy
The rain drizzling in all its glory

The cold the wind the moon and the night
All combined make a magnificent sight

The stalking leopard and its shiny eyes
Hooting owls and their pleading cries

Make the jungle a savoury delight

The smell of rotten carcasses
with the faintest whiffs of coagulating blood

As the jungle goes silent
Bowing before a pair of yellow eyes
Offering you as her sacrifice
She trades another day

Another sun, another moonlight

Earth Day

Neither yours nor mine,
The Earth is ours.

“Together Vibes”

It is thy, it is my;
SO, we won’t let anybody else,
loiter our pry.

No pollution, no solution,
No stress, no maritime death.

Plastic waste, pollutes our crests;
Not to worry, we let it rest.

Our mountains melt, the oceans rise,
We cry & cry but never try.

Our progeny might die,
Without uttering its first cry.

We seem to be devoid,
Of all the occurrence in the side.

Let’s plant some trees
Make our planet green.

This Earth Day shall cherish.
The birds will fly again.

We don’t know the time,
It will take, but again;

We should try & try,
Till the very end.

She

It was just another day,
She woke up, dressed and went her way.

Was quite proud of her beauty & herself,
"SHE" enjoyed life to the fullest.

Little did she knew,
People would be waiting for her.

Waiting in the dark, dark nooks
Of the streets she took.

Waiting for her return,
Waiting for her “TO” return.

A Coffin

A Coffin
A coffin came my way, They said, therein you lay; I could believe them nay, Until they said they could flay; Wild I went, I could not vent; The expression remaining, Before it started draining; I was no longer composed, I had to be dosed; You were ethereal, This had to be surreal; No enmity could matter, When everything had shattered; You had been battered, When you had me flattered; I can not apologise, You have been baptized; I seek not your forgiveness, I need not your liveness; For you’ll always be, Right here, in my heart; I woke up, to find you gone, For EVER in your zone.. I need not repent, For I have your scent; Your memories alive, Shall always thrive; You were one of a kind, Never out of your mind; It is not cowardice, For it requires courage; It shall not be despised, For it was your suffrage..
