A BETRAYAL OF INNOCENCE
Trust is always a fragile thing
Better not put it in a swing
A clueless mind in time will know
If someone tries to halt its glow
Even true blood can bite the pay
And be like puppet in a play
Temptation bites even the wise
More so when sun is on the rise
Don't always trust a sweet, sweet smile
For, deep within, it could be bile
Trust not always a sweet, sweet care
For, blade of bile don't always spare
For, in the minds, so pure and clean
Black widows bite them, you can glean
So, even light of shining day
Is choked in mist of black and gray
